Paperwork

We went to the Immigration office in May to get the paperwork for our visas done. We are sooooo thankful for the staff in our NTM office. They take us to go in for the picture taking and fingerprints. This time they took our fingerprints on paper and in the computer. It was kind of neat to see them show up on the computer screen with all our info and pictures and all together. After we are done we get to leave and the office worker has a long day of waiting in lines to finish it all up for us.

We have a 2 year visa that is good til November of next year, then we go through it all again. They have changed some of the restrictions on official paperwork here and we may have to come home to get papers like our birth certificates and marriage license certified by the Philippine consulate closest to our visa issuing place. Ours was New Orleans. They are trying to get this reversed as it may cause many missionaries to have to travel back home to get this done adding extra expenses and lots more headaches to the office workers. Please pray it gets reversed.
