NTM has a yearly conference where all the missionaries get together and share what is happening and get encouraged or challenged by a special speaker. It is also a time for recreation and fun. This year it was in January, right before the kids had to go back to school from Christmas break. The special speaker this year had many good talks about our Christian lives from Acts, Hebrews, Matthew, Romans, etc... We had fun catching up with old missionary friends and making some new ones. On the competitive side...Russ' soccer team won the tournament and Russ was the winner in a ping-pong tournament. He is still competitive but is feeling the getting older thing now! They had a duck pin bowling alley at the conference center. It is bowling with small balls with no holes and when you knock the pins down a person stands them back up for you! Yep, that's automatic!
